Banana, Strawberry, and Honey Bowl

During my childhood, my mother had a habit of surprising us with something special that came in the form of a smoothie.

Bananas, Honey, and Milk. And every so often, when in-season, Strawberries.

I wanted to merge this Lebanese childhood treat with a west coast lifestyle. So, naturally, I made it into a light breakfast bowl. Simple ingredients sweetened with honey and topped with anything you like.

Dallah's Breakfast Bowl
1 Banana (preferably frozen)
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
1/2 Tbsp Honey (or Agave Syrup)
1/2 - 3/4 Cup Milk (or Almond Milk)

Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor with 1/2 cup of Milk.
Blend until a thick consistency (close to soft serve icecream).
Add more milk if it's too thick.
Place in a bowl and add toppings (if you forget to prep toppings and you need time, place in a bowl and put it in the freezer).
